AU vs NM tailgate
Can’t get a good phone pic of the beer because of the sun. This will do. We’re on a strip of grass here and have about 10 two liter bottles of various homebrew.

Guinness Truck
I saw this Guiness Truck on the way to work today and couldn’t recall ever having seen one in Alabama before. I was driving from Auburn to Montgomery, I suspect this truck was coming from Atlanta. Alabama has a rigid 3 tier licensing system and provides that Alabama licensed manufacturers can only ship to Alabama licensed wholesalers with which they have an exclusive agreement for a designated territory. So I suspect Guinness has a wharehouse in Georgia, and this truck was shipping to an exclusive wholesaler for the Montgomery area. In Alabama, when you see a Budweiser truck delivering to a 7-11, it is not Budweiser delivering, but a licensed wholesaler with Budweiser advertising plastered all over the truck.
One out of two – maybe one that is – is Bad
Transferring a Biere de Garde tonight. FG was 1.012. I’m not sure if this is going to be good. I have a difficult time judging beers this warm and flat. I seem to pick up something wrong but I’m not sure. The Dopplebock I checked on just before this is infected, and I know why. More on that later. Good story, or rather pathetic. One out of two – maybe one that is – is bad.
Curt the AU Microbiologist Homebrewer
My new friend Curt at the first Auburn Free the Hops meeting. Pic is blurry. I need to upgrade my Treo.
